Here we have a fab vintage map covering quite a bit of West London – primarily Acton and Shepherd's Bush – in tea towel form!

Made from 100% Organic cotton, this practical item would make a great addition to any kitchen, and is a perfect gift for those who live or have lived in the area.

Covering parts of no less than eight postcodes, this map, digitally reworked from a 1920s map book, features loads of places of interest. We've got White City stadium which hosted the Olympics in 1908, Hammersmith hospital – birth place of many a west Londoner, Uxbridge Road station and The Ministy of Pensions, to name but a few. A fascinating insight into bygone days.

Starting in Acton High Street, it covers parts of North Acton, East Acton, and some of Park Royal to the north, down to Chiswick High Road in the south, all of Shepherd's Bush, a good part of Hammersmith, out to West Kensington, Notting Hill and North Kensington.

Why not use one of these tea towels to wrap a bottle of wine, for a thoughtful gift for a teacher, friend or neighbour.

We also have vintage map tea towels of Ealing & Acton, Hammersmith & Fulham and Brentford, Kew & Richmond.
